Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Postponed Due to Coronavirus

The upcoming 2020 Triton Super High Roller Series at Jeju Landing Casino, South Korea, has been postponed until further notice as a consequence of the coronavirus outbreak.

Global authorities are being forced to take action to the public health emergency all around the world. With the Asian nation’s close proximity to China, which has been identified as the source of the outbreak, Triton Poker have taken steps to ensure the safety of players and support staff for the event which was scheduled to commence on February 10th 2020.

“Coupled with our duty to do everything we can in our power to prevent the virus from spreading, we’ve taken the difficult but correct decision to postpone the event with immediate effect.”

At this stage, there are no further announcements as to when the next event will take place with officials monitoring the situation.

At last reports, Chinese health officials have declared more than 17,000 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, with more than 350 deaths to date.
