Dedicated Australian eSports betting platform Skrilla have announced a change of branding. Effective immediately, Skrilla will now be known as Picklebet. The betting platform, markets and services offered will all remain the same, but now under the catchy Picklebet banner.
A statement on the Picklebet website explained the reasoning behind the change:
“Our goal for 2020 is to continue providing Australian gamers with the leading eSports betting platform, while expanding to serve our community in international markets. With that goal in mind, we thought a rebrand was in order.”
“Picklebet was chosen for a few reasons. We wanted to have ‘bet’ in our name, so that new audiences instantly understand who our platform serves. We also wanted a brand that is memorable, and exudes fun, which helps us in achieving our mission, to be the most celebrated eSports betting platform globally.”
Skrilla has built a following as the leading eSports betting platform in the country. Launched in 2018, the platform provides punters with a wide array of eSports betting and daily fantasy contests.
Picklebet will continue to offer markets for all of the major eSports contests from around the world, including CS:GO, DOTA2 and League of Legends.
