The 2020 Formula 1 season kicks off at Albert Park in Melbourne this weekend for the annual Australian Grand Prix!

Six time drivers’ championship winner, Lewis Hamilton, will be back to defend his crown this season, looking to tie the record of seven championships set by German Michael Schumacher.

His teammate, Valtteri Bottas, will also be a defending champion this weekend, after winning the Australian Grand Prix last year over Hamilton (2nd) and Red Bull driver Max Verstappen (3rd).

The action gets underway on Friday, the 13th of March with a Practice 1 kicking off at 12pm followed by the Practice 2 later in the day at 4pm.

Saturday will see Practice 3 get underway from 2pm before the Qualifying starts at 5pm. Lewis Hamilton will look to win pole position for the 9th time in qualifying on Saturday, although his strike rate from those eight poles sits at a meagre 25%.

The Australian Grand Prix will take place on Sunday at 4.10pm and conclude around 6.10pm.

The best thing about the Australian Grand Prix compared to the rest of the F1 season is you can view all of the action across the weekend live on free to air TV! All three practices, qualifying and the Grand Prix will be broadcast live on Network 10 as well as in 4k for Fox Sports subscribers.
